Superman

I can’t stand to fly
I’m not that naive
I’m just out to find
The better part of me

I’m more than a bird...i’m more than a plane
More than some pretty face beside a train
It’s not easy to be me

Wish that I could cry
Fall upon my knees
Find a way to lie
About a home I’ll never see

It may sound absurd...but don’t be naive
Even heroes have the right to bleed

I may be disturbed...but won’t you concede
Even heroes have the right to dream
It’s not easy to be me

Up, up and away...away from me
It’s all right...you can all sleep sound tonight
I’m not crazy...or anything...

I can’t stand to fly
I’m not that naive
Men weren’t meant to ride
With clouds between their knees

I’m only a man in a silly red sheet
Digging for kryptonite on this one way street
Only a man in a funny red sheet
Looking for special things inside of me
Inside of me
Inside me
Yeah, inside me
Inside of me

I’m only a man
In a funny red sheet
I’m only a man
Looking for a dream

I’m only a man
In a funny red sheet
And it’s not easy

Its not easy to be me

A visionary, a psycho-path and a Taoist combined into one being, yes its noneother than moi to bring to you yet another topic that I had in mind to the table...

SO...I have succumb to the school system and been confined into the idea that I am only as good as a paper with a number percentage states I am. Not to say that I am any smarter than I claim to be but I'm just merely saying that I see no stupid people whenever I walk around. There are exception such as the mentally retarted people out there who really can't learn due to whatever reasons they were born with. Its not like this is new to anyone since I'm sure you've had this in mind or they just teach you in religion class...getting back to my point, whenever I hear my fellow peers who claim they are stupid as a result of getting a C+ in English class or a failing mark in another...I have a few words for you...

- Effort
- Concentration
- Time

There's a few more but I don't want to bore anyone more than I already have. We all have our own areas of expertise and specialties. If you have one thing then you lack in some other area, I'd like to think of it as the universe's way of balancing things out, a yin to your yang, polar opposites etc. I was reading up on which side of my brain I use and I found some sources and ways to improve the "left side" thought of my lobe and I found...

Left Brain
Right Brain
Logical
Sequential
Rational
Analytical
Objective
Looks at parts
Random
Intuitive
Holistic
Synthesizing
Subjective
Looks at wholes

I am most of the time geared to the right side of my brain and it dips into the left when I decide to do so or forced to do so. Well I'm using my left side right now or the "analytical" aspect to write this little thing but the right side of my brain is the one that is actually typing this. I mean for example, a person looks at a tree and copies EXACTLY what it looks like using the colors and sketchings to match every shadow and detail. Is it called Art or is it more the analytical part of your brain which can be no different then an HP Scanner. However, I'm not saying that people who do that aren't talented and it really is art in my opinion but I'm just doing what I can to present both sides of the topic.

Month of February:

- I like oreo ice cream and peanut butter
- McDonald's is the devil's advocate in bun-form
- Media Arts is the most SLACK class I have ever been in and SFU considers it when you apply
- I have quite a bit of free time
- I want a Smart Car *thumbs up*
- Its been almost three months Vonnified, good luck with the science fair
- Watch The Boondocks absolutely love that show
- Jesus Christ was a coloured man, caucasian-white people were very rare in that paticular region at that time (prepares for religious flaming)

YEAR OF THE DOG:
Dragons and Dogs
never DID get along...watch out fellow "fortune babies"of '88

And so I'm back from the dead...of silence to bring you the latest in news and to enrich, or possibly kill, your brain cells...so fellow prisoners might I just start off by saying that

I am DONE with the exams and not to mention the first half of grade 12 so the question is...where the fark has the time really gone by now? why are we so obessesed with time as human beings, and is time really worth the dollar signs and bills that it is so highly associated with...

The matter is that we as human beings need to relate to something, and running blindly never really left us anywhere now did it. For those that are still running blindly amidst the shadows, or my fellow "monkeys" I salute you. I mean why bother walking unless you know where you are going riiiiight? so I say to you guys, mabye I'll enlighten thou with the story of the eskimo and the seal.

The eskimo needed food to feed his family, yet he also wanted the honour and fame that comes with catching the largest seal you can find. SO...he overheard of this "Great Seal" that was as big as a baby whale so he goes off on his journey. To his fortune he is able to see a MASSIVE sea creature that could be the great seal legend spoke of and the chase begins. He chases for hours on end and says that no matter WHAT happens he WILL reach his destination...however he kept looking past the ice and failed to see the ice beneath him. The ice before his feet cracked and broke leaving the poor eskimo plunging into the freezing arctic waters...He doesn't die but he learns from this...so the moral you ask?

If you can't see the road you're on and if the road isnt even stable or smooth in the first place...how do you plan on getting that "drive" to your goal.

So fellow prisoners I'll just say why not stop worrying about your what the end of the road is and just make sure you're driving down the right one. for all you know a certain someone, something or whatnot can offer you some assurance or help...keep an open mind and Impossiblity is a joke...if I sound a little un-realistc well its called the "Back" button on the top left of your comptronik screen. ladies and gents, peeps and protestors keep up the dreams and hopes

So...been a long time since I've had some time to put my cookie-jar of thoughts onto website-form...

Alright its' Bat Wing coming to all my fellow readers', listners' and prisoners of the school life. Now lets get on a hot topic on everyone's minds now.

EXAM WEEK!

that's right readers...tis the season of that year once again and oh what a stress-fest it shall be. I don't mean to be a pandora's box and tell you what you already know...well most of you...so I'll just give an update on trials of this week. I've been wondering WHY exactly do we work our arses off during this paticular time of year. I mean we strive to do the very best and I remember EXACTLY that people told me specifically that, "it's the time of the year and its GRADE 12! so that means time to work our asses off!..." give me a break people... you know that you won't go through with it unless someone points a gun to your head and how many of you may I ask have a 9mm in your basement?!...on second thought I don't think I wanna know that little tid bit. Anyhow I've been up and about for the past few days thinking about a certain someone, (Miss you Hun) and how is it that a piece of paper can determine your future. You've always been told to "do this" or "be like this" and how exactly do you fight that...I'm not preaching I'm just telling you how it is through my eyes. We look to these days with fear, sweaty palms...I mean you can even FEEL the sweat dripping down your spine as you look upon "Chapter 13" in you daily textbook. Well my inner instincts tell me that I've learned this stuff before and I can do it again...These exams will be like a best friend to me so I can mabye learn something and keep up this attitude till the end of the year...un-realistic?, of course...Time consuming?, oh you KNOW it...impossible?, not at ALL

"Speak Out, Speak Easy, Speak Free!"

We're all here for a reason people so lets take this as another learning experiance as its supposed to be...not JUST another reason to study like a monkey on roids...and this is what I leave to you so happy studying fellow prisoners and this is your free voice Bat Wing signing off!
